Annual Calendar — Full Multifunction Display

The 3266 displays five calendar functions simultaneously: month, day of week, date, year, and 24-hour time. This is the same complication scope as the 3249 but on a different case architecture and with a different adjustment method. The 3266 uses crown-based calendar setting rather than the side push-button system of the 3249.

The calendar display is integrated into the skeleton dial architecture — calendar windows and sub-registers are visible as part of the layered movement layout rather than as a separate dial face. The combination of gears, calendar wheels, bridge plates, and screws visible through the open dial is the defining visual character of this watch.

Multi-Level Skeleton Dial

The dial is fully open — no solid dial plate. The movement bridges, gear train, calendar mechanism, and balance wheel are all visible from the front through the synthetic sapphire crystal. The construction uses multiple planes at different depths, creating a three-dimensional view through the dial. Decorative bridge plates carry the movement architecture and calendar sub-displays.

The colour accent elements — red, blue, or green depending on variant — appear on the hands, selected movement screws, and accent rings, providing contrast against the silver and black movement base. The overall aesthetic is technical and mechanical rather than formal or minimalist.

Automatic Movement — 24 Jewels, 48-Hour Reserve

Self-winding automatic movement with 24 synthetic ruby jewels and a power reserve of approximately 48 hours from full wind. The rotor charges the mainspring through wrist movement — no battery required. Manual winding is possible via the crown: approximately 30–35 clockwise turns from a fully run-down state to achieve full wind. The exhibition sapphire case back provides a full view of the rotor and movement from the reverse side.

Synthetic Sapphire Crystal

Mohs 9 synthetic sapphire with anti-reflective coating on the front crystal. The anti-reflective treatment reduces glare on the skeleton dial, which benefits significantly from reduced reflection given the multiple depth planes visible through the crystal. Exhibition case back is also synthetic sapphire.

Luminous Hands

Hands carry luminous coating for low-light readability. The skeleton dial has no solid surface to hold traditional lume indices — the hands are the primary lume reference in darkness. Suitable for indoor low-light conditions.

Tungsten and Stainless Steel Bracelet

Tungsten carbide and stainless steel combination bracelet with diamond-cut rhombus link faceting — the same construction family used across the OUPINKE range. Butterfly double clasp with push-button release. A strap adjustment tool is included in the box for link removal.

FAQ

Does this watch have a tourbillon? No. The open balance wheel visible through the skeleton dial is not a tourbillon — it is the standard balance wheel of the automatic movement, visible through the open dial architecture. A tourbillon is a distinct complication that rotates the escapement to counteract gravity; it is not present in the 3266.

What calendar functions does the 3266 display? Month, day of week, date, year, and 24-hour time — all simultaneously visible through the open skeleton dial.
