Seiko NH36A — Movement
The NH36A is a Seiko-manufactured Japanese automatic movement — the day-date version of the NH35A. 24 jewels, 21,600 vibrations per hour, bidirectional automatic winding, manual winding capability via the crown, hacking seconds. Power reserve is approximately 41 hours from full wind. The day-date display at 3 o’clock shows the abbreviated day name alongside the date number in a dual-window format.
The NH36A is the same movement used in the OUPINKE 3200 Geyashi tonneau model — both are Geyashi Series watches sharing the same movement, bracelet construction, and specification level, differentiated by case shape: round (3171) vs tonneau (3200).
Dial and Case
The 3171 uses a sunburst-finished dial with Roman numerals at the quarter-hour positions and diamond-set crystal indices at the remaining positions. The OUPINKE wing logo appears at 12 o’clock as an applied element. Hands are gold-tone toffee (paddle) profile with Swiss luminous filling. The day-date window sits at 3 o’clock. “AUTOMATIC” is printed on the lower dial.
The case is round with a brushed-sand finish on the case sides and a polished gold-tone bezel. The crown is oversized with the OUPINKE logo engraved on the face. Case thickness is 11mm — slimmer than the 3179 skeleton (14mm) and comparable to the 3200 (11.5mm).
Tungsten and Stainless Steel Bracelet
Diamond-cut tungsten carbide and stainless steel links — identical bracelet construction to the 3200 Geyashi tonneau. Tungsten carbide is highly scratch-resistant and denser than stainless steel, giving the bracelet substantial weight and a hard-wearing surface. The diamond-cut faceting on each link produces a faceted reflective pattern consistent across the bracelet and case.
Butterfly double clasp with push-button release, stamped with the OUPINKE logo. Bracelet circumference is 20cm. Link removal via standard pin tool for sizing adjustment. Weight is 135g — lighter than the 3200 (183g) due to the smaller round case.
Synthetic Sapphire Crystal
Mohs 9 synthetic sapphire with three coatings: anti-fingerprint plating, soft fibre cushion protection, and blue light resistance. The flat crystal profile sits within the polished gold-tone bezel frame. Scratch-resistant under contact with steel, glass, keys, and most everyday abrasives.
Swiss Luminous
Hands and indices carry Swiss luminous powder — green emission, charged by ambient light, readable for several hours in complete darkness. Lume is applied to the toffee hands and all dot hour markers. The diamond-set crystal indices do not carry lume.
50M Water Resistance
