The pillow (or cushion) case is a rectangular or square case with rounded corners and curved case sides — the transition from a hard square to a softer rounded profile. The AM002VM uses a square pillow shape at 38mm — the case diameter measurement covers the widest point of the cushion.
The pillow case creates a vintage character associated with 1970s design — the era when cushion cases were widespread in sports and dress watches. At 38mm the AM002VM’s cushion is compact relative to modern oversized watch standards.
Mineral Glass — Front and Back
