VK63 — Sweep-Second Mecaquartz

The VK63 is a Seiko hybrid mecaquartz caliber — the chronograph seconds hand sweeps smoothly rather than ticking in discrete steps, driven by a mechanical gear train controlled by a quartz oscillator.
