Colour Variants

Beige — neutral warm off-white. The most versatile tone across light-dial dress, field, and everyday watches.

Beige (side wire) — same beige base with a contrasting side-wire edge stitch detail for a more structured, tailored look.

Tan — warm mid-brown. Pairs naturally with brass, gold-tone, and aged silver hardware. The closest to a classic vintage leather character.

Suede Leather — Texture and Ageing

Suede is the napped underside of full leather — softer to the touch than smooth leather, with a matte texture that reads vintage and understated rather than formal. Unlike smooth leather, suede does not develop a high-gloss patina; instead it softens and conforms to the wrist over time, becoming more comfortable with wear rather than stiffer. The matte surface also hides minor marks and scuffs better than polished leather.

The smooth leather backing sits against the wrist — less friction than suede-on-skin and easier to keep clean. Reinforced edge stitching runs the full length of the strap on both sides, keeping the layers bonded and the edges from lifting with daily flex.


3–4mm Thickness and Pin Buckle Fit

At 3–4mm the strap has enough body to sit flat and hold its shape on the wrist without the stiffness of thicker padded straps. The stainless steel pin buckle is standard-gauge — compatible with any watch that accepts a standard strap. Adjustment holes are evenly spaced for a precise fit across most wrist sizes. The 120mm / 80mm split length fits the majority of male and female wrists without shortening.

FAQ

What widths are available? 18mm, 20mm, 22mm, and 24mm. Select the width that matches your watch’s lug width — this is the measurement between the lugs where the strap attaches, not the buckle or case width.

Does suede leather age well? Suede softens and conforms with wear rather than developing a gloss patina like smooth leather. Minor surface marks blend into the texture over time. It is not as water-resistant as smooth leather — avoid prolonged water exposure and allow to dry naturally if wet.

How do I fit the strap? Two spring bars and an installation tool are included. Compress the spring bar tips to release the existing strap, slide in the new spring bar with the suede strap, and release into the lug holes. The installation tool has a forked tip for this purpose.

Is this strap compatible with quick-release lugs? The strap uses standard spring bars — it is compatible with quick-release spring bar systems if your watch has them. The included spring bars are standard (non-quick-release).

What is the difference between the standard and side-wire variants? The side-wire variants have a contrasting thread running along the outer edge of the strap, adding a visible structural detail. Functionally identical — the side-wire is a visual preference.

Will the 20mm strap fit a San Martin SN0111? Yes. The SN0111 has 20mm lugs. The tan, beige, and gray suede variants are particularly well-matched to the brushed stainless case.
