The Farasute 2260P is a 36mm tonneau-shaped hand-wound mechanical dress watch — a barrel-curved case profile rather than round or rectangular — with a concentric guilloché dial, Roman numerals at all twelve positions, small seconds at 6 o’clock, blue sapphire cabochon crown, sapphire crystal and sapphire exhibition caseback. Hangzhou customised manual movement, crocodile-pattern leather strap with pin buckle, 9.9mm case thickness, 5ATM water resistance.
Available in blue, silver and salmon.
Lug width note: 19mm — non-standard. Aftermarket straps at 19mm are available but less common than 20mm. Confirm before planning strap swaps.

Blue: Deep navy guilloché dial with contrasting white Roman numerals and hands. The concentric texture creates varying shades of blue depending on light angle — from deep navy directly above to lighter blue-teal at oblique viewing angles.
Silver: Classic silver guilloché with dark Roman numerals — the most formally conventional and highest-contrast of the three. The guilloché texture on silver is most clearly visible as each concentric ring creates a distinct reflection line.
Salmon: Warm salmon guilloché dial with dark Roman numerals. Salmon in a tonneau case with guilloché texture and Roman numerals creates the most overtly vintage-formal character of the three — referencing the pocket watch heritage the tonneau case format descends from.
A tonneau (from the French for “barrel”) is a curved oval or barrel-shaped case — wider in the middle than at the lugs, following the natural curve of a barrel’s profile. The tonneau is one of the earliest wristwatch case shapes, developed in the early 20th century when wristwatches were adapted from pocket watch movements and cases were designed to sit comfortably on the wrist without the rigid straight edges of rectangular designs.
The 2260P’s tonneau profile creates a case that follows the wrist’s curved surface more naturally than a round case — the curved sides sit flush against the skin rather than creating the small gaps at the edges that round cases produce on non-flat wrist surfaces. At 36mm the tonneau is compact; the curved profile makes the visual footprint on the wrist appear appropriately sized for formal contexts.
The concentric guilloché pattern — circular rings radiating outward from the dial centre — catches light as a series of bright rings at the specific angles where the engraving facets face the light source. The result is a dial that appears to have depth and texture beyond its physical thickness: the rings create a visual layering effect, with some rings appearing brighter and others receding depending on the viewing angle.
Roman numerals at all twelve positions in a serif style surround the guilloché field. The decorative inner chapter ring creates a visual separation between the central guilloché area and the hour marker zone. The small seconds register at 6 o’clock is the only sub-dial — a traditional dress watch layout.
The crown is finished with a polished dome of blue sapphire — a cabochon (unfaceted dome) set into the crown face. The blue cabochon crown is a specific finishing detail associated with formal European dress watches — it adds a jewellery-inspired element to the case side that is visible in wear. The blue matches the colour of heat-blued screws visible through the exhibition caseback, creating a considered colour coordination between the exterior crown accent and the interior movement finishing.
Both the front crystal and the exhibition caseback use sapphire — an unusual specification at this price. The caseback reveals decorative striping on the bridges, visible gear train, blued screws and the balance assembly. The combination of sapphire front and sapphire caseback ensures both viewing surfaces resist scratching throughout ownership.
At 9.9mm the 2260P is the slimmest non-Regulator Farasute dress watch in the range:
The 9.9mm profile on a tonneau case means the watch sits very flat on the wrist — the curved case edges allow it to follow the wrist surface without the case edge lift that flat-based watches produce on curved wrists.
The 2260P is built for:
vs. Farasute 2260B — The sibling 2260 model at 1,231 impressions. Check for specification differences between B and P before publishing.
vs. Farasute XK-009A — The XK-009A is 39mm round at 8.3mm with white Roman numeral dial and 80-hour Hangzhou reserve. The 2260P is 36mm tonneau at 9.9mm with guilloché Roman numeral dial. Both hand-wound Hangzhou, different case shapes and dial treatments.
vs. Farasute 5321A-1 — The 5321A-1 is 33mm rectangular at 10.5mm with Art Deco pyramid markers. The 2260P is 36mm tonneau at 9.9mm with concentric guilloché. Both are non-round hand-wound dress watches — choose by case shape preference.

Great looking watch.
Great watch!
Amazing! the dial is superb, so are case and crystal. for this price it is basically a gift rather than a purchase.
Guillochete dial is absolutely beautiful. Wears perfect on my 6.5 inch wrist. Farasute makes the best watches.
