Strap Options — Four Materials, Known Weights
The SF783 is available with four strap materials, each with a documented weight:
Black leather (95g total): The most formally appropriate — glossy black crocodile-pattern leather.
Brown leather: Warm brown crocodile-pattern leather — more casual and vintage-adjacent than the black.
Nylon (113g total): Woven nylon — casual and active-wear appropriate. Lightweight and breathable for everyday sport use.
Silicone (107g total): Rubber/silicone — lightweight, flexible, moisture-resistant. The most practical for actual water use and the most sport-forward character.
No stainless steel bracelet option is available for this model.
120-Click Ceramic Bezel with Luminous Scale
The SF783’s bezel has three distinguishing features:
120 clicks: Most dive bezels use 60 or 120 clicks — the SF783 uses 120, giving 3 degrees per click and 30-second timing granularity. Finer than a 60-click bezel.
Ceramic insert: Mohs ~8–9 hardness — scratch-resistant compared to anodised aluminium inserts at ~5.5. Maintains colour and surface condition over years of wear in saltwater and sand environments.
Luminous bezel scale: The minute markers on the bezel glow alongside the dial hands and markers. This is less common than luminous dial elements alone — having the bezel scale also glow means elapsed-time tracking remains readable in complete darkness.
Super Luminous — Three Surfaces
The SF783 applies luminous material to three separate surfaces:
Dial hands: Hour, minute and seconds hands.
Dial markers: Applied hour markers at all positions.
Bezel scale: The bezel pip and minute markings.
The three-surface lume creates a complete low-light display — the elapsed-time reference (bezel), current time (dial markers) and time-reading (hands) are all legible in complete darkness.
Red Date Window
The date window at 3 o’clock uses red numerals rather than the black-on-white standard. Red on black creates higher contrast than standard black numerals and adds a specific character to the dial — consistent with the red Steelflier logo text.
200m — Confirmed Rating
200m / 20 bar with screw-lock crown and screw-in solid caseback is confirmed dive specification — safe for recreational scuba diving to standard depths. The screw-in solid (not exhibition) caseback eliminates the glass window sealing concern. The screw-lock crown requires rotation to lock after use — confirm the crown is locked before any water exposure.
