Ceramic Bezel

The unidirectional rotating bezel uses a ceramic insert — harder than the aluminium bezels common on entry-level divers. Ceramic at approximately 1,200–1,400HV vs aluminium’s 150–200HV means the bezel maintains its markings and surface appearance significantly longer. On a rotating bezel that sees regular contact wear, ceramic is the correct specification.

The bezel rotates in one direction only — counterclockwise. This is the standard dive safety specification: accidental displacement can only indicate less elapsed time, never more.

Sapphire Crystal

Genuine sapphire crystal at Mohs 9 — resists scratching from all normal daily wear materials. On a watch rated to 100m that will see swimming and active use, sapphire crystal is the appropriate specification. Mineral glass scratches from daily contact within months of regular active wear; sapphire maintains clarity indefinitely under the same conditions.

100m Water Resistance

100m / 10 ATM with screw-down crown and caseback handles recreational swimming and snorkelling comfortably. It is not rated for scuba diving with compressed gas equipment. The screw-down crown must be fully locked before water exposure.
