Dial-Facing Rotor — The Defining Feature
On a conventional automatic watch the oscillating weight (rotor) sits behind the movement, visible only through the exhibition caseback. The OBLVLO Rotor positions the rotor on the front — it rotates visibly across the dial face as the watch moves on the wrist. The result is a dial with live kinetic motion rather than a static display.
The rotor rotates in response to wrist movement — at rest on a desk the rotation stops; during active wear it sweeps continuously. This makes the Rotor the most visually animated watch in the OBLVLO range — the dial changes with movement.
215-210A Movement
The 215-210A is OBLVLO’s designation for the automatic caliber used in the Rotor — 48-hour power reserve, automatic self-winding.
